About The Coffee Gallery

The present Coffee Gallery location began as a 1950’s flower shop and greenhouse. The original owners sold the business, but the new owners fell on hard times and lost the property to the bank. The property was abandoned for many years, falling into disrepair and neglect. Along the course of its history there were attempts made to bandage the ailing building but no real investment in time or money was done to bring it back to life.

The Lederman’s passed the old “Flower Shop” hundreds of times commenting that the community needed a unique business to compliment the area. The “passing by” continued until a beautiful day in June 2000…when the Lederman’s stopped, made an offer to purchase the property and the rest is history.

After massive renovations and literally blood, sweat and tears a vision was completed. Coffee Gallery opened for business as an upscale art gallery with a creative and innovative coffee bar on December 21, 2000.

The vision to create an environment to feed the mind, body and soul; for enjoyment and contemplation, within a site to purchase beautiful art, in a variety of media, from some of the countries finest artists… became a reality.
